What you need:

Print out of our Size Finder
A ring you already own that fits you (or the person you are buying for)

Step 1:

Print out the Size Finder. Make sure you print the guide at ‘actual size’ in the printing settings. You can check the guide is printed at the correct size by placing a credit card on the sheet.

Don’t have a printer? You can also measure by opening the Size Finder on an iPad. Just make sure to view at 100% scale and double check the scale using a credit card.

Step 2:

Place your chosen ring on top of the circles of the Size Finder. Find the circle that fits the inside of your ring as closely as possible. This is your ring size.

Find your size without a ring

What you need:

Scissors
Ruler
Piece of Paper
Pen

Before You Begin there are a few things to keep in mind when measuring your ring size:

Measure your finger at the end of the day—this is when it’s at its largest as your fingers change size throughout the day.

Make sure you leave enough room to accommodate your knuckle.

Your left and right hand are not always the same size. It is important to measure the specific finger you want to buy for.

Step 1:

Cut a strip of paper to be about 6 inches long and 0.5 inches wide.

Step 2:

On the finger you intend to to buy a ring for, wrap the paper around close to your knuckle. This is the thickest part of your finger. Make sure not to wrap too tight, to assure it will be a fit that is comfortable.

Use a pen or pencil to mark where the paper overlaps to form one complete circle.

Step 3:

Use your ruler to measure from the edge of the paper to the line marked. Remember to measure up to the nearest 1/16th of an inch. This measurement is the circumference of your finger. Record your measurement on a separate piece of paper.

Step 4:

Use the table below to find your ring size based on the circumference measurement you just took.
